閑話休題

#TEDICTチャレンジ とは関係がないことなんですが、自分で記事を書く行為はしばらくしてこなかったので、人にみられる記事をどのように書くと良いのか考えだすと難しいですね。自分が作成した2年前もの文章を見ていると恥ずかしい文章なんですよw(この記事も2年後には恥ずかしいものになっているでしょうが)

How great leaders inspire action | Simon Sinek

#31 That's a result. It's always a result.

#32 By "why", I mean: What's your purpose?

#33 What's your cause? What's your belief?

#34 Why does your organization exist?

#35 Why do you get out of bed in the morning?

#36 And why should anyone care?

#37 As a result, the way we think, the way we act, the way we communicate is from the outside in, it's obvious.

#38 We go from the clearest thing to the fuzziest thing.

#39 But the inspired leaders and the inspired organizations regardless of their size, regardless of their industry all think, act and communicate from the inside out.

#40 Let me give you an example.

#41 I use Apple because they're easy to understand and everybody gets it.

#42 If Apple were like everyone else, a marketing message from them might sound like this:

#43 "We make great computers.

#44 They're beautifully designed, simple to use and user friendly.

#45 Want to buy one?"

#46 "Meh"

#47 That's how most of us communicate.

#48 That's how most marketing and sales are done, that's how we communicate interpersonally.

#49 We say what we do, we say how we're different or better and we expect some sort of behavior,

#50 a purchase, a vote, something like that.

#51 Here's our new law firm:

#52 We have the best lawyers with the biggest clients, we always perform for our clients.

#53 Here's our new car.

#54 It gets great gas mileage, it has leather seats.

#55 Buy our car.

#56 But it's uninspiring.

#57 Here's how Apple actually communicates.

#58 "Everything we do, we believe in challenging the status quo.

#59 We believe in thinking differently.

#60 The way we challenge the status quo is by making our products beautifully designed, simple to use and user friendly.

#61 We just happen to make great computers.

#62 Want to buy one?"

#63 Totally different right?

#64 You're ready to buy a computer from me.

#65 I just reversed the order of the information.

#66 What it proves to us is that people don't buy what you do; people buy why you do it.

#67 This explains why every single person in this room(what room) is perfectly comfortable buying a computer from Apple.

# 68 But we're also perfectly comfortable buying an MP3 player from Apple, or a phone from Apple, or a DVR from Apple.

obvious: 明らかな

fuzzy: 不明瞭な

regardless of: ~にかかわらず
